Parts Person

Van-Ed Equipment Ltd. is a family-owned and operated company, established in 1987.  We specialize in the sale, rental, and service of quality, heavy-duty, hydraulic machinery attachments and associated wear parts.  These products include hydraulic breaker hammers, compactors, demolition shears and crushers, grapples, screening & crushing buckets, dust/odour control units, and much more.  We are dedicated to customer satisfaction and a strong customer experience.  We work hard to deliver a quality product to our customers.  Our customers depend on us for our service, expert knowledge, and our ability to respond quickly in this fast-paced market.

Job Description

• Reports directly to the General Manager
• This position will assist in customer telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries on parts
• Processing and shipping customer orders, domestic and international
• Loading/unloading and receiving of parts and other stocking items
• Provide parts support to the Service Dept. as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous Parts experience would be considered an asset
• Forklift operation / certification (training available)
• Capable of meeting the physical demands of parts and warehousing, able to lift 45-50 lbs. unassisted
• Strong, focused customer service skills with a pleasant telephone manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Hardworking, reliable, flexible, and willing to adapt in our dynamic environment
• Strong team player
• Good computer knowledge including Windows & MS Office suite, and web-based applications

Job Type – Full-time

Compensation – Competitive, will vary based on experience & skillset

Benefits – eligible following a 3-month probation period
