Product Overview
The KX280 Excavator Tree Shear is a new kind of energy wood grapple for excavators weighing 5-15 t. The result of long experience and continuous development work is an easy-to-use, efficient and light tree shear that can be used for many different applications.
Thanks to the modular design and the easily removable blade, logging, clearing and installation work are effortless. The optional mass handling device enables several successive cuts and thus brings efficiency to timber harvesting.

Collector aka mass processing device
The collector device speeds up the harvesting of energy wood. The collector keeps the cut wood in a grapple and allows up to 20 consecutive cuts.
A semi-automatic valve is also available for the collector. The valve speeds up the batch processing work and makes it more user-friendly.
Extension
The removable extension extends the reach of the grapple.
Felling support
Detachable felling support secures the trees and makes working more efficient.
